Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Northview Eye Associates a proud provider of vision care products and services in Wisconsin.

Dr. Kevin E. Jacobson, O.D.

Dr. Jacobson grew up in Rice Lake, WI. He graduated from UW-Eau Claire and then attended the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL.  After graduation, he joined his father at his optometric practice in Rice Lake. Dr. Jacobson did an internship in low vision and contact lenses. He has served on the board of the Wisconsin Optometric Association and is also a member of the American Optometric Association. He enjoys many of the outdoor activities that northwestern Wisconsin offers including skiing, kayaking, fishing and hunting.

Dr. Gabrielle C. Smiley, O.D.

Dr. Smiley grew up in Durand, WI and received her bachelor’s degree in Physiology at the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities in 2013. She then graduated with honors from the Michigan College of Optometry in 2017 with her Doctor of Optometry degree. She practices full-scope primary care optometry with a special interest in ocular disease. She is a current Wisconsin and American Optometric Association member. In her free time, she enjoys backpacking, hiking, reading, spoiling her niece, and spending time with her husband Michael.

Dr. Michael M. Seebruck, O.D.

Dr. Mike was raised in Necedah, WI and moved to the Eau Claire area during his elementary school years. He completed his studies at Altoona High School and started at UW- Stevens Point to pursue his Biology degree. After finishing four years at the Michigan College of Optometry, Dr. Mike graduated with his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2017. He specializes in ocular disease and contact lenses and is a member of the Wisconsin and American Optometric Association. Happy to be back in the northern Wisconsin area, he enjoys spending time outdoors kayaking, backpacking, and biking.

Dr. Tracy L. Kocemba, O.D.

Dr. Kocemba grew up in Stone Lake, WI, graduated from Hayward High School, and went to University of Wisconsin- River Falls for her Bachelor of Science degree.  She moved on to the Illinois College of Optometry and graduated with a Doctor of Optometry degree in 1997.  She moved back to Hayward to join the Northview Eye Clinic and has been practicing there since that time. She has also worked in Superior, WI for about a decade for the former Vista Optical.  She and her husband Steve have been married over 20 years and have a small hobby farm with goats, chickens, dogs and cats.  They both love to garden, swim and kayak.

Dr. Austin L. Schipper, O.D., FAAODr. Austin Schipper

Dr. Schipper was raised in Richland, MI where he attended Gull Lake High School. After finishing high school he earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology at Western Michigan University. He then went on to graduate with honors from the Michigan College of Optometry in 2017 with his Doctor of Optometry degree. He spent an additional year at the Michigan College of Optometry completing a Residency in Cornea and Contact Lenses. He is a current member of the American Optometric Association. In his free time, Dr. Schipper enjoys outdoor activities with his wife and dog as well as spending time with family and friends.
